Your task is to create an enclosed environment; the map should be largely based on exploration.
Your project must include:
A light transition from interior to exterior; a central feature, something impressive; a vista looking out to a large environment which is not accessible; trigger events, so moving objects, particle effects, changes in lighting; an ‘alive’ environment with wind, particle effects and interactive elements; finally, interesting level design concerning exploration.
Other considerations could be:
You can blend different locations and reference points into one, cohesive location; London has different architectural styles and it’s important to understand how to join them together; give attention to environment aspects for narrative design as locations used could provide interesting symbolic references to draw upon.
